i got 1 child 5 yrs old...recently i took up a job after a long time...my problem is i don't no how to be organised and efficent...like every morning its chaos while going for work...after coming back i don't feel like doing any housework...cud someone give me tips abt organising myself

I dont know if u r in India or somewhere else but u can utilise ur weekend to do most of the things. I am in US and working, even though I dont have any kids yet, i still feel tired and lazy to do anything after coming from work. So since I have sat-sun off, I try to do all my work on that day for eg, I peel and chop lot of onions , make ginger-garlic paste, cut lot of tomatoes and keep or make puree, cut all the vegetables & keep ready, cut green chillies, etc. So after coming from home, its just a matter of few minutes since I already have everything chopped and kept ready. I try not to cook a lot, just rice and some type of vegetable with gravy or rice/dal with some dry vegetable or fish, etc or sometimes even khichdi, rice-dal with pickle. If u can get canned vegetables like canned chole, rajma, etc. then it will be more helpful. That helps me a lot. So mornings I dont cook at all. I just cook at night for dinner and next day lunch (or tiffin). If u r in the habit of having breakfast everyday, make something easy like upma, sandwich, etc. Also keep readymade snacks handy like cookies, chips, etc. which u can have for breakfast once in a while. At night after u finish cooking and eating, make it a habit to wash the utensils before going to sleep or else u will keep it, thinking u will wash the next day and next day u already have more other utensils and thus it just keeps on increasing. Try to wash pans immediately. Also iron few set of ur clothes during the weekend / holidays instead of ironing every morning. I guess if u follow these tips u will get enough time every evening which u can spend with ur kid & husband and also relax. Hope this helps. let me know if u want any more help/advice.
