Unexplained Infertility:Dr.Madhuri Patil, Bangalore - ivf

I am happy to write that inspite of all that I have heard and read about Dr.Patil I chose to listen to my cousin sis without whom I wouldnt have made a visit.
My long wait for being a mother has finally come true with the blessings of Dr.Patil and her Team..to whom I would forever be thankful for.

Yes, I do agree that her talks may not be sugar coated but the fact that everything was so transparent from my first visit is what gave me the confidence to continue.
After a long drawn emotional 6years of trying with many well known specialists, I was glad to see that here my emotional needs too were taken care of as they had a counselor who' d really helped me through every step of the treatment.
I highly recommend Dr.Patil for she and her team are truly ethical and professional.

No one is good or bad it is our own experience and in what state of mind we are visiting to a Doctor and what you expect from that Doctor and is also true that it is difficult to satisfy every individual, some Doctor's approach is very practical, or sometimes it is emotional . What appeals to us is important .

Hi Hima, I would suggest you try ayurvedic treatments before going for costly IVF and other treatments...?

All the best. I hope results are in your opinion

I visited Dr. Patil for initial tests & examination and agree she was very thorough because she is the doctor who examines patients herself rather than have junior. less experienced doctors do the work. But Patil has totally dropped the ball in following up with my case inspite of repeated emails + calls to her facility, which I think is pretty unprofessional.

Are there any other IVF clinics people would suggest? I absolutely don' t want to return to Gunasheela or Kamini Rao. My experiences with these doctors have been substandard and I find their facilities to be unhygenic.

Recently (from 28th nov - yesterday), i hav met Dr.Madhuri Patil with my reports. With past history of 3 failed IUI´ s, she told we can try for 1 or 2 IUI´ s, then will go for ivf. Any 1 has got successful IUI at this clinic? Also hospital´ s like manipal, patil´ s take some tests check for dna fragmentation in male partner. In Coimbatore, when i consulted, doctor says these kind of tests are not certified, even then many hospitals does.

IVF via Donor Sperm
Hi, we are planning for ivf via donor sperm as we have genetic history wherein my daughter is ASD and mine own brother is ADHD hence genetic counselor said there is risk of 15-20 percent of child being autistic if we use our own gamet. If male child is born the risk is higher than a girl child.

Hence we thought to go for donor sperm. But there is still... - SS [View Message]
