Hi Moms,

Is it ok to eat left over food while you are beast feeding? Until now my parents were here and iused to eat fresh and hot food everyday. But now i am on my own...so can i cook food once in two days? is it ok for the baby?
Can you eat all the fruits like banana, mango, orange while bf?

Thanks,
swathi

Hi Swathi,

It is absolutely ok to eat left over food. There should be no restrictions on your diet now as your baby is 4.5 months old. Just dont do too much spicy food.Even that is actually ok as long as your baby is taking it well. You can eat all fruits that you mentioned. Drink as much fluids (water and juice) as you can. Water is better as too much will add more sugar to yr diet. No one here cooks everyday yaar, specially as we are all alone. I cook once in 2 days and cook more variety so that we can have something new everyday and I sometimes have leftovers in the afternoon. My baby is excusively BF...
