Are you all giving your baby water everyday? How much are you giving? How are you giving it? In a bottle or any other way???
Right now, I give Tanvi only bm....even after feeding her cereal, I finish off with bm.
Is it necessary to give water at this age?

Hey Jay,

Thanks for the Info on Passport.
Regarding water i started giving Ritvik water in his 4 month when i started Rice cereal.i give him say abt 1-2 OZ everyday due to Summer my Doc also suggested me to give water.

His Updates he now tries to reach the toy which is placed in front of him.He sits with support.NOw-a-days he doesnt want to sit in Bouncer seat.I put some Rhymes for him.Then Night sleep is still the same ,he wakes up often.

Do post Tanvi's Pics.Update Tanvi's.As u said we will keep board active.

Hi ramya and jayashree,
nice to hear about Ritvik and Tanvi. Ritika too tries to grab and touch any toys hanging over her head or even lying down or if we show her some toys. Oh.. her sleep is the same yaar. Good sleeping days are really rare. I wish that gets better soon.

Hey jayashree, is it ok to show dvds to 6 month olds?? I have heard about Einstein dvds, review is good. Let me know, ok. Take care. Lots of love to Ritvik, Tanvi and all the little ones in this board. Enjoy weekend.

hey ramya...
i too will start giving her a little bit of water from today. Tanvi is picking up her toys and holding them in her hands now....she too moves forward to reach for her toys. She hates being made to sit in any place now...has to be on the ground so she can keep moving.
I've bought Baby einstein DVDs for her...she seems to like it...it's not interesting for adults...but she doesn't take her eyes off the tv if i put it on for her.

Have any of you pierced your baby' s ears? Where did you get it done? Were you able to change the earrings after the piercing and put on indian ear rings? My pediatrician does not do it, and she suggested that i take tanvi to the mall. Pls share your experiences at the mall if you' ve had any.

My daughter was 5 months old when we decided to get her ear pierced. The non medical ear piercing options are painful and unsafe with possibilities of hepatitis, viruses and even HIV and I can never recommend it.
