Due Date Club July 2005:Hi archie

Hi archie,
Hope u r doing fine. How is Advait doing? My little boy is 3-1/2 months old. He used to take one time formula, for the past 4-5 days my milk supply is reducing, as I am supposed to get my periods in 2 to 3 days. I give him BM every alternate time, in between I give him formula. I guess everything will be back to normal once my period starts.
I have a question, my little one is having dryness in his face is it ok to use johnson baby lotion in his face???I am applying coconut oil before his bath.
I have another question, when I was in my 7th month of pregnancy I started having numbness in my hands and fingers. It is continuing even now. My doc told me in my postpatum appt that it will be there for 6 to 8 weeks after delivery, but I am already in my 14th week. what am I supposed to do for that? I am not able to hold my baby for a long time. Thanks archie....

Dear Smile,
Your numbness should be back to normal. Check with your Ob if she wants to run some blood analysis to see all is back to normal.

it's fine to use Johnson baby lotion to avoid dry skin due to winter. try it slowly to experience if your boy (no name yet?) develops an allergy or not.

coconut oil is good.

Breast pumps
I am using a medela pump to feed my baby when I am out. The medela breast pumps are really a good choice for the working moms. We can pump the milk regularly and can store it and use whenever needed.... - dalewhither [View Message]
evenflo elan breast pump
Buy this pump! It’s made my life so much easier. I always got sore with my old Medela Advanced, but that never happens with the Ameda Purely Yours Breast Pump. What really makes a difference is its ease of use. It’s really easy to switch between pumping phases and take apart to clean. Strongly recommend it for all mothers that pump daily.... - stellatylor [View Message]

try this
As we discussed earlier in this forum I used magnetic alphabets , through which he has learnt alphabets within a week. And number within 4 days.
It is as like take the letter and stick to it where ever he goes more and ask him to search a particular letter. this worked very well for me.
all the best... - Manju [View Message]
