I went for my check up yesterday and i have completed 11 weeks 2 days. Doctor was not able to hear the heart beat at all with the doppler. He asked me to come back in 2 weeks as sometimes they don't hear the heartbeat upto 12 weeks.

Dont worry this happened to me too.when she could not hear the heart beat i felt like crying so my gyno took me for Ultra sound which they usually dont do at this early time and that too for silly reason like this.but at my 14 week check up i was able to hear it very clearly.so take care.

Very normal at our stage you will bearly hear the heartbeat with doppler only ultrasound will detect the heart is beating

Hi Sumana,

It happened to me when I was pregnant last time but I was little earlier than you...I was in 7th week and had to go back after a week for heartbeat again.

But, Don't worry....hope you get to hear the hearbeat soon.

Did she do US to see the baby?

ya US was done when i was 8 weeks and then it was 147. But at 11 weeks he was not able to hear thru the doppler. Asked me to come back in 2 weeks time.
