HI Vidhi,

you are supposed to gain weight in your pregnancy, you do know that, don' t you? YOu must gain an overall of 25 to 35 lbs in your entire pregnancy. We gain weight coz of increase in our blood volume, baby weight, amniotic fluid weight, etc. Losing weight should not occur to you right now if you want a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby.

Yes, as suggested by others, you can avoid too much of fatty foods so that you don' t gain excessively. AS you said, it was not a concern for your doctor, coz its not supposed to be a concern.

hii vidhi..
Don' t ever try to loose your weight during pregnancy..if you are gaining weight no problem..don' t keep yourself hungry..walk & excersice should be in limit..once let healthy baby come...& then you can think of loosing weight...okkkk

hi vidhi

Dont worry.....weight gaining during pregnancy is normal.....you follow yoru schedule....walking is good. dont restrict your diet. DO not eat Fatty foods/fried foods. that is enough.....enjoy your pregnancy.....weight gained will be gone 70% after delivery. you will have to loose only the remaining 30% which you will when you exercise regularly.....

hope this helps
Jichi
