After we went thr' all the tests, i was put on clomid. Meantime i had a pinch of cinnamon powder in 1/2 tsp honey, 3 times a day. That helped me. I did concieve in 2 months. I donno if clomid helped or the honey and cinnamon. Now i have a healthy 6 month old daughter. you can try this. it helps to strenthen the uterus.
Think positively and relax. During ur ovulations days, go out and have fun.

Hi,
I was in the same situation until 5 months ago, I was diagnosed with unexplained infertility as all my tests and my husbands count came back normal.
I was even put on Clomid for 4 months to give my ovaries a boost, but nothing seemed to work. I finally went to a Reproductive specialist, and with more blood work they found out that my Prolactin levels were 3 times the normal count (this elevated level appear only in pregnant women for lactation, and to some level acts as acontraceptive. In my case it was due to a benign tumor in the Pituatary gland, which was seen in an MRI.
I was put on medication for 2 months and I finally got pregnant in March.

Assuming you have already undergone the diff tests
1. HSG (to check if your tubes are open)
2. Blood work to check you harmone levels
3. your husbands sperm count
4. The Hostile mucus test
A visit to a specialist might be a good idea, as my OBGYN would probably have taken longer to figure out my problem.

Yes folic acid is definately a good idea, also try to cut down on caffine consumption and make sure you are immune to Rubella (if not the doctor can immunize you). If you have been trying for a year, it would be good to see a specialist.
I hope and pray everything works out for you.

IVF via Donor Sperm
Hi, we are planning for ivf via donor sperm as we have genetic history wherein my daughter is ASD and mine own brother is ADHD hence genetic counselor said there is risk of 15-20 percent of child being autistic if we use our own gamet. If male child is born the risk is higher than a girl child.

Hence we thought to go for donor sperm. But there is still... - SS [View Message]
