Due Date Club July 2005:Hair fall
2005-10-20
Name: Sudha

Dear friends!

All this while when I was pregnant enjoyed no hair fall at all (maximum 10 in day) but within 2months of delivery, my hair started falling like anything (around 200-400). I am scared if the same pattern continues, very soon I will be bald.

Just wanted to findout if any of you also facing the similar problem. Can anyone suggest what should I do to stop hair fall. There is no phenomenal changes in my deit habbit also.

If anyone can suggest something please do so...

Regards,
Sudha

hi sudha

im also experiencing the same.nearly 100s to 200s everyday. though i havent stopped taking prenatals but hair fall has started last week. i think its due to some hormone changes in our body. as 3 months after our delivery hope our body is getting ready to start our periods again in few days.

Even I had a good hair growth during pregnancy and now slightly I am seeing the hair fall. As I read in an article it is quite common and also it has to do with hormones. Also hair grows and falls in a cycllical manner. Now you are in the falling phase of the cycle. Definitely you'll not grow bald :-) Wait and watch.

Breast pumps
I am using a medela pump to feed my baby when I am out. The medela breast pumps are really a good choice for the working moms. We can pump the milk regularly and can store it and use whenever needed.... - dalewhither [View Message]
evenflo elan breast pump
Buy this pump! It’s made my life so much easier. I always got sore with my old Medela Advanced, but that never happens with the Ameda Purely Yours Breast Pump. What really makes a difference is its ease of use. It’s really easy to switch between pumping phases and take apart to clean. Strongly recommend it for all mothers that pump daily.... - stellatylor [View Message]

try this
As we discussed earlier in this forum I used magnetic alphabets , through which he has learnt alphabets within a week. And number within 4 days.
It is as like take the letter and stick to it where ever he goes more and ask him to search a particular letter. this worked very well for me.
all the best... - Manju [View Message]
