Breastfeeding:Should Mothers of Newborns drive a Car

In general should women who have newborn babies drive a car as it is noticed many take a break from their jobs before delivery and after the baby is born so is it safe for breastfeeding while driving I think it is best not to drive during pregnancy and and until the child is 2 years old

Im assuming in india you do not have special car seats for new born babies or children in general as in the UK it is the law. So woman her yes we go out with our newborn babies well as an indian we wait a few weeks, and as for breastfeeding you stop and feed where it is safe and private to do so.

Nalini, you' re right, it' s not safe to drive if you have a newborn. After delivery, mother' s health faces lots of challenges and the major one is breastfeeding. So, it is advisable that for at least 1 year, you should take care of yourself completely. Even, you can consult to your doctor too. Other than this, i would suggest you to check out Facebook page, Babeez World. This page provides all useful information, tips, advice etc. This page helps me a lot in dealing with my baby. May be it can help you too.

According to my gyno, I have some special hormones due to which i can easily lactate and due to that my motherly instincts are extremely high. I was lactating until 1 yr back & I still can induce if i want to breastfeed anyone.
