First congratulations!

About migraine I too have migraine problem and now I am in my 14th week. As per my doctor and few book/articles migraine headache increases in pregnancy. Below are few findings/solutions as per doctors and few experts –
1. Should avoid taking medicines as much as possible.
2. Try to see what exact cause to start headache… (E.g. going out in sun/dark chocolates) and try to avoid it.
3. Talk to your doctor about migraine problem she may give you some tablets… As of now my migraine has been reduced because of five days course of Eveon E tablets which my doc has given. She told me if once again if it starts coming then take again 5 days course. Usually my headache starts in the evening so she told me to take these tablets for 5 days at 5 pm.
4. Also, as per my experience diverting mind is also helps. To do this my mom/mom-in-law use to do that ‘nazar utarna’ and it works for me.
Just try this one… Before taking any medicine talk to your doctor.

Hope it works for you too! Happy moming…!!!!

Hi Meena

Do you have migraine now also after you got pregnant bcoz sometimes it tends it tends to reduce. 1. Try using an ice pack on you r forehead the minute you feel a headache coming. This might reduce your head ache. Also try putting a hot water bag to your feet bcoz it helps in moving blood away from your head to your feet. Ask somebody to massage your feet especially your big toe as that is the acupressure point for headaches. If you have to take a tablet then take one having acetaminophen than AcetylSalicylic Acid(ASA). But if you have sever e headache that too which clouds your vision see your doctor immdly for high BP.

Take care - Deepa

hypertension is high blood pressure, normal blood pressure level is 140/90 but if blood pressure is more than that then its not good for pregnancy, so try to keep your blood pressure under control.... - bhavika [View Message]
