Dear all,
i m entering into my 8th month sucessfully..its been a perfectly normal & wonderful journey so far without any complication like morning sickness & all.Recent u/s has shown my placenta is anterior & baby is in vertex/cepahllic position.cervix is undialated & mesauring 3.4 cm. baby' s weight is around 1.5 kgs.
I am a working lady & handling a very cool & stressless job. Now, this is the time to inform my employer regarding my M. Leaves.I am comfortable in wking till 31st Oct since my EDD is 14th Nov. bt everyone is saying that its difficult to carry preg till 40 weeks my baby will arrive sumwhere in Oct end.Pls guide me in case of a healthy preg also babies arrive before due date?
Another thing is that every1 is saying that 8 th month is very critical & we shud take extra care otherwise there r chances of premature birth.I dnt exert myself much but still there has to b sum household work to b managed apart frm official work..
I dnt want to take any risk. I am seking for ur advice till how long i can continue working & what r the things i shud take care of esp in 8th month.

Thanks & all the best to all of u.

HI

Please check with your doctor. Iam in my 8th month and everything is normal. touchwood. My doc has asked me to take off 2 weeks before the delivery. Since you have a cool job, check with your doctor and do what you feel is comfortable.Personally i feel working keeps you away from all tensions, which one normally has before delivery.

Hi Monica,
All the best for your delivery!
Even in my case, though it was normal,
I delivered on 8th month only.
I heard that mostly first delivery can happen early.
So I suggest you to take rest and prepare for welcome someone cute :-)
Take care

Hi Monica.

firstly congrats n wish you a healthy baby :) i m also in my 29th week now..

as i have heard, even in healthy pregnancy baby can arrive anytime from 37-40 weeks n u should be prepared for that. recently my sister has given birth to a baby n her pregnancy was very normal n baby arrived just after 37 weeks. i guess in last stage specially u need more time to relax your body n prepare for baby' s arrival. anyhow, after baby' s birth you wont be able to get much time for yourself, so i think in last month , u should rest at home n give yourself some time.

so dont take any sort of stress... just relax yr body n mind for sometime n prepare for the arrival of your bundle of joy.
good luck :)

Domperidone
There is a medicine for this condition. If your child is spitting up BF as well as lactogen, then Farex would not be the solution. There is a medicine which contains Domperidone made exclusively for babies which effectively treats this condition. Ask your doctor and then if he gives the go ahead, you can try this medicine. ... - Mel [View Message]
