Hello All,

Ritvik is having rash like thing in his cheeks.It looks red in color,its rough to touch that part.But it disappears and come again.Ped prescribed \";CETAPHIL\";.But i dont think its going.Can anyone throw some lights on this?

Ramya,

I also have the same experience with my 4 month old daughter..Dont worry .. This is only cos of the oil/cream/soap we use during massaging/bathing old infants...These will disappear as they get used to it... My doc prescribed me to use Pears Soap for kids... instead of any Joohnson products ..ofcourse it totally depends on how ur baby accepts diff products...
But this is very normal and will go away as time passes

hi ramya.

when yash was about 2-3 months,he had what ritwik did.its very commen in babies. it woud also come n go on its own.1 personal observation- it totally dissappeared within a day each time i used JOHNSONS BABY CREAM. see if tht helps. in any case it is harmless to apply the baby cream.

Dear Ramya ,

Try to use Eucerin Moisturing cream twice a day .. Aravind had rashes last week so i applied eucerin , it shows good result , so why dnt u try it ..

Have any of you pierced your baby' s ears? Where did you get it done? Were you able to change the earrings after the piercing and put on indian ear rings? My pediatrician does not do it, and she suggested that i take tanvi to the mall. Pls share your experiences at the mall if you' ve had any.

My daughter was 5 months old when we decided to get her ear pierced.
