I have a 3 month 4 days old baby, I breast feed and also give her lactogen 1 as my milk was not sufficient right from the start. She is very active and has also started turning now. My concern is that she is refusing to take bootle feed for past 3 days and keeps on playing all day long, and keeps sucking her thumb in between but does not cry for milk. I tried force feeding her after 5 hours of feed yesterday and she vomitted it out. When i try to breastfeed her she sleeps after 10 mins and does not wake up for hours together. I have been taking Galakol tablets (2 tablets) twice and include methi and jeera in my food but it does not help. Please advice if I still have chances of increasing milk supply and also is it normal for babies of this age to not have milk for such long hours. Please help. shalaka replied. Dear Maya..
i m new user of this website n red abt ur prob.. my baby is now 4 months...but still i prefer only breastfeed.. sometimes if i feel thr is shortage of milk.. i start taking lactare tadlets trice a day n also ' Pro-Pl powder for lacting mother' in milk twice a day..also i cook ' methi ki khir' which helps alot.. its fenugreek seeds cook in cooker for 4-5 whistle.put some brown suger or jaggery for sweetness n add coconut milk atleast twice of the khir...try out if it helps..
