1. I have written many times to this group consoling other mom-to-bes that they should not be worried if they do not have any pregnancy symptoms. But I am getting increasingly worried, because I am just not having ANY!
My first scan was at 6w3d, when I saw the heartbeat, then the doc has asked me to come only after 12 weeks! It is too long a wait, the days seem to be just draggggging by. I am only 8w3d now, and I still have 3.5 weeks to go before I visit the doc. atleast i could have some symptoms to reassure me that everything is fine? I could atleast feel tired or sleepy. No.I dont feel any different from otherwise. what do i do? is anyone in the same boat?

Another concern is that sometimes when I feel hungry, and I almost feel the growls in my throat or chest, but my tummy feels heavy and full. at these times, my tummy also feels bloated and hard when pressed. But only at times. Otherwise, like this morning, my tummy is quite flat and soft, and very normal. does anyone feel this? Riya replied. Lalitha

You have just described exactly that I am feeling. And I was so worried that there' s something wrong. My tummy also feels flat and I feel very light in the morning. Almost like I am not pregnant at all and I am 9wks 6days pregnant! For the past few days I haven' t had any nausea. But sometimes I do feel hungry and at the same time I can' t seem to eat. But I guess that' s one of the major symptoms of pregnancy. Aversion and hunger at the same time. The tummy bloating is a sign of flatulence/gas buildup. Though you might not realise it, you might be burping or releasing gas more than normal. When you don' t that' s when the tummy becomes hard. All these confusing signs are symptoms of pregnancy so please don' t worry. And I am glad I am not the only one feeling this way. At least we can provide support to one another.

Take care. madhu replied. It is absolutely fine if u do not experience any symptoms at all. In fact you are one among the few who are blessed with no nausea or weird feelings in the stomach and u should enjoy this time and make the most out of it. I know of many friends who have had successful pregnancies without any symptoms in the first trimester. So just chill. !!! This is very very normal.

Also, u said that u experience sudden hunger sometimes but ur tummy feels full all the time. That is one of the symptoms dear. I' m going through this same experience. My tummy feels very soft and less bloated when i wake up in the morning. But other times its hard to touch and feels bigger and always full. So after eating each meal my tummy feels fuller then usual. So, this experience is also very normal.

So about ur worry, i too have hardly any symptoms so i can understand your concern. a constant fear that something can go or have gone wrong is natural to come but if u feel that u r too paranoid to wait until the next scna, just go and meet the gyneac. the worry is not worth, u shud feel assured and happy thru out these 9 months. No worry is small, so pelase take an appointment and discuss it with ur doc.
