I just revealed to my 16 year old son he was adopted and he got very mad i dont know why. he does not want to talk to me all i did was tell him he was adopted and we didnt want him anymore. his birthday passed and i promised to find his real parents but i diddnt and he is still mad. I do not understadn these american born indian kids at alL! shelly replied. ask a simple question to yourself.. how would you feel if somebody close to you told you that they dont want you anymore?? even if not close for that matter anybody... and then think why your boy is mad.. and kids do not behave because of their origins or birthplace but because of their bringing up and surroundings.. how can u be soooo selfish. it looks like that u adopted ur child when u needed and now when all your requirements are fulfilled u r telling him that he is of no use to u any more.

u know it looks like a waste paper when u don't require him u throw him out of ur life. i don't understand that y u don't want him any more. then in the first place why u adopted him and didin't give him wat he deserve. i think he is right in his behaviour. u deserve this dee replied. I'm sorry but for being a parent you don't know anything. First of all teenagers are resentful towards lots of things. Second of all, maybe it was the comment about not wanting him anymore. Then making a promise and breaking it especially after telling him such major news that could affect the rest of his life. He should be mad at you. And it has nothing to do with these \";indian born american kids\"; a child is a child, no matter what religion, background, or nationality. If you want to correct it, I suggest seeing a family therapist that specializes in adoption. Then try everything you can to find his parents IF he wants that too! Good luck
