Hi ladies and gentlemen,
I want to know how can one forgive and take their spouse after they come to know the spouse has cheated on them. To me having ex-marrital affair is not just betraying, it is just disgusting as puke. l replied. This post may seem quite last but I had to reply. Forgivness is something that is hard to do but forgetting the betrayal is even harder. If you can not truly forget the affair and can never trust your partner again you seriously need to consider what is left of a marriage.

On the other hand if you can do this, truly forgive and forget then it is best to do so. But only if it comes with out forcing it. It doesn't matter if something was lacking at home to make the partner cheat. There is always time to try to remedy problems rather than making more by cheating.

Also a very interesting fact is that there was a wolrd wide survey done just this year. It included all countries and demographics and it was discovered that the men who cheat most are Indians. A whopping 47% had cheated on their partners... I do believe the next most unfaithful statistic was something like 10%... Saddening isnt it Forgive replied. Hi friend,

It is indeed to hard to digest that fact. But analyze the situation - it could be due to the emotional need which was not extended by the partner. May be the person was undergoing mental crisis and leaned against whichever support he/she got. In my opinion, such things should not be considered as ex-marital affairs.

If something like this is the situation and the person is trying to forget everything and trying to be loyal with the partner, then why not forgive thinking it as the children's behaviour?

Try and see the behaviour now. If the person is really feeling guilty and not having any connections with 'him/her' whatsoever, then FORGIVE !
