Hello every body.. its my first baby and yesterday doctor said that its breech but uncertain. i am in my 33rd week. in early weeks till 28th week it was cephalic(head down). i can feel the head near my belly button.
Doctor is not ready for Cephalic version at all because of the risks involved and this is my first pregnancy. is there any excercise you people know which i can do (after the consultation of my doctor). i feel that the baby s moving the head he is going right and left and then again straight. is there any particular sitting or lying position which can help the baby to turn to the head down position? Please help me out i am very worried. and pray for me and my baby.
Regards

Hi,

Even my baby was breech, I tried being on \" all fours \" which they say sometimes turns the baby, however it didnt work for me , even in the last minute before the c-section they check the position, it was still breech for me and had to deliver baby via c-section. But as Adithi said nothing matters once you see your baby and
c-section isnt that bad ..don' t worry - good luck !

Hi,

I had the same problem and did a lot of research (though none helped). None the less, checkout the slant board exercise on google(Enter \" breech baby exercise\" and you would get links). It should be done daily or twice daily

When I tried it(I think in my 35th week), I did feel a lot of movement, though I guess it was too late for him to turn. I had also read things like placing a music near your legs or placing an ice near the babies head also causes him to move.

All the best to you and the baby. I finally had a c-section and its not that bad. So dont be too worried, When you have the baby infront of you nothign else matters. :)

RE:C-Section
C-sections are planned when the mother wishes to escape the labor pain or in emergencies like if the cord is entangled around the baby's neck and the baby's life is at risk. But i think natural delivery is always a better option.... - Neeta [View Message]
