i am an indian from A.P.i am presently in USA. my daughter is 6 months and 10 days old. i gave her gerber rice 2TBS twice a day from 5th month and she did fine. all of a sudden since four days she is not showing intrest in taking solids.she is not opening mouth for it. before she also use to take gerber fruit and veggie once each(about half bottle) in a day. now she takes only breast milk and the problem is i find low supply of milk because since one month i am giving her solids. now i am very worried about my milk prduction and also sad and tensed as there is no other alternative.she never takes formula from bottle.

will i produce milk again? any advice please help me? any capsules or what ever it may be i will try. thanks in advance. casper replied. Please do not worry. Its just a phase and it will eventually pass. It could be that your daughter might be teething and is experiencing a loss of appetite. Maybe you could try a different brand of formula. Have you tried giving her homemade mashed fruits (apples/peaches/nectarines) or maybe some boiled daal/sooji/khichdi?

To boost breast milk you could increase the intake of methi . Also increasing the frequency of nursing may gradually increase the supply.
