I really have tough time giving veggies and fruits for pranav..

he is ok with rice cereal and oat meal.. whenever i try to give veggie or fruit (GERBER ONLY) he cries and screams a lot..

if i mix with rice cereal he kns the taste change and doesnt take it.. :((

man.. its really tough for me to handle this situation.. sometimes he doesnt take milk properly... he hates mixing formula with his cereals...

any tips wld be highly appreciated..

What veggies

Hey suki,

Since when have you started with cereals ? also what veggies are you giving...
wait for 2-3 weeks after starting with cereal to give veggies and same when you start fruits.

I started yash with carrots and he loved it...gave it for 3-4 days evryday at lunch...then gave him sweet potato...same gave for 2-3 days...this way he know the taste and likes them too much...then i tried peas..and he did not like the taste of it....making signs of vomitting so i did not give him that day....next day i just mixed 1 spoon with carrots...he eat it...he came to it was a little different :) but did not bother stopping....slowy i increased few spoons day by day...then did same mixing with cereal....now he eats peas and beans..but does not know he does :).
also make sure pranav is a hungry when you try something like this that way they are atleast willing to eat no matter what (but not toooo hungry as they get cranky ...)

Wait for a week or two

Suki - Try Rice cereal with dal ka pani. If he doesn't like solids yet don't force him... Stop and try after a week... may be he is not ready yet... Try with cereals for a week without adding solids...

Rohan hates sweet potatoes and i totally stopped giving him also he got rashes with it so i will try after 2 weeks...

I have been visiting site and finally cld see posts. Rhea is doing good.Pretty active like other kids.she sings whole abc song and counts 1to 6 (her bro' s impact)
I have been busy since i joined work since Jan ,so my inlaws are here to help with kids.i terribley miss both kids during day.
