MY IN LAWS ARE NOT LISTENING AND I HAVE TO HAVE HEAD TONSURE. I AM VERY SCARED AS THE TONSURE DAY IS COMING CLOSE.WE HAVE DECIDED TO GO TO TIRUMALA ON 7TH AND MY TONSURE WOULD BE DONE ON 8TH.I HAVE THICK LONG HAIR WHICH I DON'T HAVE THE HEART TO SHAVE BUT IF I DON'T MY HUSBAND AND MY MOTHER IN LAW WILL BEAT ME SO I HAVE TO GO AHEAD.PLEASE IF ANYBODY HAS PREVIOUS EXP PLEASE TELL ME WHAT PRECAUTIONS I HAVE TO TAKE.SHOULD I OIL MY HAIR BEFORE TONSURE.DOES THE TONSURE BY RAZOR HURT.WOULD MY HAIR GROW BACK PROPERLY.DOES THE TONSURE TAKES PLACE IN FRONT OF EVERYBODY ARE THEIR NO WOMEN BARBERS OR ANY SECTION WHERE WOMEN ARE TONSURED.PLESAE WRITE TO ME I AM FEELING VERY SCARED.I HOPE THEY DO TONSURE IN SPITE OF HAIR FILLED WITH DANDRUFF OR LICE BECAUSE IF THE BARBER REFUSES TO TONSURE ME FOR THIS REASON MY MIL WILL BEAT ME LIKE ANYTHING.SOMETIMES I HAVE PROBLEM OF LICE AND DANDRUFF. srinivas replied. mam lavanya

In paper i heard that some women barbers were appointed for tonsure for ladies. If they are available u may do it ur tonsure by lady barber.

Gents will do very nicely. U dont worry they will shave even have lice and nuts.

U may apply oil for yr head. Take a new blade with u for ur head tonsure. they willl give but u may take for ur satisfacation.
First they will apply water on ur head then they will massage ur head. Make ur hair into two knots left and right and shave the head from middle to back and middle to front very smoothly.
U may feel the exeperience while shave. being a women it is quite uneasy. After shave u feel that how it was done.
I think u are married and dont worry give ur hair to god dont be a child.
dont afraid. there is no separte place for ladies tonsure. All gents all ladies will be there. If u go and see the tonsure hall u may get enthusiam togive ur hair. I pray almighty to shower their blessings to you and ur family.
