Hi,
This is my 2nd child after 7 years. I' m 13wks but was told that by a gynae that the feotus looks 11 weeks old. Is it a problem? Or is it due too lack of proper food and vitamins? Also mentioned, that my placenta is low and chance for me to bleed is there too. Please advice...thanks

dear chante
alolika is right...you must have concived later...so don' t worry?your periods were regular?second thing is due to low lying placenta you may bleed becoz even i was having low lying placent & I too had bleeding...during my 16-17 week so don' t worry...as you are having low lying placenta you need to take more rest...you should take bed rest if you can while lying keep to pillow below your leg means your leg should be in upward position that helps placenta to migrate up...don' t pick up any heavy things & even while sitting keep your leg up...don' t worry believe in god & everything will be fine...take care love to little one

Dear Poonam,

Thanks for the soothing words and advice! It really helps.I have tried using the pillows below my legs while lying down, it helps!I do believe that god would be a great guide during this pregnancy of mine.
Thank you so much.Take care.

dear chante,
firstly congrats on ur second pregnancy..
If the fetus looks like 11 weeks according to ur gynae then im sure its bcoz u must have conceived late in ur cycle. it happens many times if you ovulated late.
did u ask ur gynae the reason? but i personally think there is nothing to worry n its definately not bcoz of lack of food n vitamins. as long as the baby is doing fine you should not worry:-))
about low lying placenta, i think its a common problem. lot of times the placenta goes up on its own in the later stage. please take proper rest n do not strain urself..
take good care..

dear alolika,
Thanks!I do agree that it might be due to my cycle date. That´ s y the baby looks small.I have been prescribed few vitamins to be taken daily by my gynae but I´ m trying to go for second opinion as well after this.
Thank you for the encouraging words and indeed made me feel a lot better.
Thanks and take care. Will update my weel-being soonest!...
