Due Date Club April 2004:how long does your baby sleep??

Sidharth is home now after spending 11 days in intensive care. he is recovering...I read that babies in 1 month sleep for 20 hours!!!! looks bit odd to me since we need to spend at least 6-8 hours for feeding, diaper changing, baby play time. he takes atleast 2-3 hr breaks in between the sleeps...I hope this is normal..how is your baby sleeping? how long is he/she awake?

sree,
Seb sleeps at about 10pm and wakes around 12am. then i feed him,he sleeps then till 7-8am with small feeding sessions in between. morning he plays for 1-1.30 hrs and then after his bath, he again sleeps for 2-3hrs.afternoon also he sleeps for 1-2hrs. so i guess totaly around 13-14hrs. i think sidharth's sleeping patterns are normal. dont worry sree.
hows sidharth doing? hows his respiratory problem? hope everything is getting better by gods grace.
