Hi Ash,
I won't go on consoling how you should cope up with domestic issue, I am terrible when it comes to such aspect.

However given that you are suffering with multiple vaginal infections and also placenta previa you need to be careful, at least you care for this baby, don't you. Then stand for this baby and let not mishap repeat again. Before delivering you must be free from all infections so that baby can be born vaginally and otherwise C-section would be an option, which can be very bad if your spouse is not of help.

Be good with medication and take them on time. Drink lots and lots of water and cranberry juice with permission ofyour OB.

Infections you are having should have been gone by now but the fact they are there may be due to they are multiple, candida and enterococcus and require intelligent way of treatment. You must get your swab test done once a 2 weeks to keep on track about vaginal environment.

As long as cervix is closed there is little to none risk for your littleone. Is he/she kicking? if you answer yes then keep track of fetal movements.

Pregnancy can be very emotional due to hormones but try to keep things in perspectives and see whats good for you. Don't think your spouse is not standing for you, may be he has his reasons. I don't know situation and therefore should not say on this part. But I think generally after a mishap each father-to-be should be more careful and otherwise there has to be some reason for not co-operating you. Try to sort that reason out.

Keep in touch with your updates.
Archie

Hi Ash,

Archie has already mentioned about medical things so nothing on it. Please keep strict vigil on checking your infection.

But on your domestic front I would like to say something. I know it is easy to say but going through your situation, that is only thing which comes in my mind that you should be strong enough to handle any situation. At this stage your mental position is very important to copeup everything. Nervous wreck, thinking about past and negative behaviour of your husband will only worst the situation and in your limited resources definately you will not like to do so.

If you are working girl, keep yourself busy in work and enjoy your office time as much as u can along with your friends and colleagues. If you are at home, watch your fav. programmes on TV, listen cassettes and read magzine to divert your mind from negative thoughts. Talk to your best friend and share your feelings if you can. Its hard to understand husband such behaviour but try to findout the cause as there has to be some reason behind it. After all he is your life partner and going to be father and he should be excited about it, sometime guys are shy in nature and not able to express their feeling very easily.

I hope things goes well at both the end.

Take care and be tension free,
Sudha
