Hi,
Use the smallest cooker available in the market. I know Prestige has them and most likely other brands should have them too.
Cook moongdhal, rice, vegs. with light seasoning for flavor...like jeera seasoned in butter and a tiny pinch of salt till soft and use a mini food processor to soften it. Don' t make the khichri runny or too thick....the latter will not be easy for babies to eat.
The same method can be followed to make pulaos too. Variations in khichris can be made by substituting moong dhal with toor dhal, masoor dhal etc.
Hope I have helped!

Hi Padma,

Here' s what i used to do for my lil one while she was young.
Add titbits of carrots, peas, spinach, tomato, potato, fr beans aolong with soaked dal& rice mixture. Add ghee salt & lil turmeric powder ( optional) & pressure cook it. Just run a hand blender after you open the pressure cooker.
Dont make a runny paste. Keep it lil thick byt gullible at the same time.
Trust this helps.

How do I defrost my old house FRIDGE?
I feel a bit silly I don't know where to begin. I've only moved in a couple months ago and it already needs to be defrosted. This little tray that slides in and out say on it: "When defrosting lift back edge of chiller and slide to rear of cabinet". What exactly is the chiller? Is it the tray itself? I'm guessing I just unplug the appliance and slide that tray back and emp... - Walter DMason [View Message]
