Celebrity Parents:Interest in names

This article is right when it talks about how newspapers and magazines are so focused on what a celebrity chooses to name their baby. I feel that this is not right. Celebrities are entitled to their privacy. They should be able to name their children whatever they want, without being judged for it.

Dream Girl for me
Hema Mailini takes the cake for me all the way! I think they way she has brought of Esha and Ahana as such graceful young women, it really needs to be applauded. Hema Malini as a mom has been known to share a great bond with Esha and Ahana and kept them both safe from too much of the celebrity fluff. ... - Shrey [View Message]
I´ m not so sure
Yaar, I think celebrities are also like people only, who are we to judge anyone? How can we say that celebrities help set examples, I believe that if we look up to our celebrities to set examples for us and our parenting skills then we have it all wrong. Whatever works
Of course, being a famous personality' s child, in the same field as the parent makes it all the more scary, and I am sure there are some psychological battles to overcome, but it' s not too much of a bad thing. Old is gold
Forget all the newbies. To me, Jaya Bachchan is by far the best celebrity mom Bollywood has even seen. I really feel like the way she has raised both her kids is the best way and I really look up to her as a mom. Abhishek and Shweta are both positive and bright young adults today because of her.... - Tanushree [View Message]
Totally Agree
I completely agree with you Kamal, after all, celebrities in our country and even abroad I guess, are literally idolized but billions of people both young and old and how they and their family conducts themselves in front of the public sets an example for everyone to follow. And well behaved celebrity kids are a real treat! it goes to show how balanced our favourite celebr... - Preeta [View Message]
Where do the dad´ s come In?
I notice how everyone here seem to be talking about the best celebrity moms and the best kind of parenting and all that, but I haven' t seen anyone mention the father' s involvement in raising a child, especially if the father happens to be a celebrity too. How come no one' s talking about the dad celebrity' s contribution? Or does it not exist?... - Tara [View Message]
Celebrity Kids and Movies?
Do you think it' s fair for celebrities to have their kids follow their footsteps into films? I think it' s pretty unfair for the child more than anything else. if the celebrity parent has had a successful career the child is under that much more pressure to perform alike if not better. And i am sure that can' t have a very good psychological impact on the child?... - Mitali [View Message]
