after 3 nights of pains/contractions, I finally was admitted into the hospital for delivery.
Doctor wanted to wait till the cervix was dilated till 10 cm. though they gave petocin the cervix was dilated till 7 cm and stopped. it took about 14 hours. and they realized that the baby's heart rate went drastically down and the doc decided to perform c-section.
after the c-section and with 12 hours spending with baby, the baby turned blue and they transported the baby to children's hospital and was diagnosed as pulmonary hypertension. he was on ventilator and Nitric oxide for 48 hours and finally discharged after 11 days in Intensive care. the baby is okay but the breathe rate is 80 to 90 times/minute which has to be reduced. but there is no cure for this condition and only time will solve his lung condition.
Please have out baby's name sidharth in your prayers for speedy recovery.

Have faith in god and be patient... sid will be in good health in no time... all our prayers will be there for his speedy recovery.

the positive point is that he is on the road to recovery and sinse he is too small it may take a while as immune system will be low.u have to be really patient and have faith in god.
i guess the best u can do to help him recover is breastfeed him so that u can build up his immune system.very soon siddarth will be fine.
