I am worried because I cannot breastfeed my baby whom I delivered on July 1st she is taken by both her aunts and 1 of my nieces who want to play with the baby I manage nurse her when she cries a lot and is put into my arms Do you think what I described is right I feel the baby ought to be with me till at least 6 months to 1 year What are your views

hi nalini.. i think u definitely have to exclusively breastfeed your baby atleast till 4mnths and then u can add semi solids but breastfeed has to b on... not only is this the best for the baby.. but u have to bond with her aswell. its great tht yr aunts take care.. they shud definitely help u out... but she shud b with u.. your her mother.. coz shes seeks only yr comfort and knows yr voice...especially at night

Thanks for the tips my tvins are with my sister sudha and younger sister chaya i put the kids in their aunts care when i was 24 weeks pregnant both boys wanted to continue breasteeding i wanted a baby and am very happy to have this beautiful girl thanks again

According to my gyno, I have some special hormones due to which i can easily lactate and due to that my motherly instincts are extremely high. I was lactating until 1 yr back & I still can induce if i want to breastfeed anyone.
