What do you think of celebrities and their spiritual practices? Do you think they do it only for publicity? Do you believe in spirituality? What spiritual practice would you advocate for the modern age? Simran replied.
In my opinion, religion is a matter of personal choice. One should only do what the individual is comfortable with. Why do you have to look at other people and say let' s follow them? You should have your own mind. And your decisions about following any religion or any spiritual activities should not depend on celebrities. If you want to follow any religion, the best thing which you can do is that you can follow your own birth religion which is followed by your parents and entire family. Why should you think about the celebrities?

I feel that celebrities pretend to be spiritual. Every celebrity wants to start a new trend and religion is just one way to do it. Most of them do it for some time and then get fed up. After that, they move on. Sometimes I feel that they just do it for publicity and attract people when they have no work to do in life. This a very wrong practice to do spiritual things only for publicity. If they want to do spiritual practices why do they want to publicise it. There is no need to tell media about all such thing if they are doing it from heart.
Dhara replied. The real issue here is when people are influenced by celebrities to follow a particular religion. They do not understand what they are doing and just blindly ape people. Then they feel disheartened. They should not try to copy the celebrities and their spiritual behaviour. Spirituality should come from heart and not by copying. It is better not to see what celebrities are doing and just do what your heart says. So it will be better to prevent ourselves being spoiled. It is better to follow what our parents say rather than doing what these celebrities do.
