hello, I am a beginner in yoga. I love to do some basic asanas. Learnt it by going through websites. I tried it for 3 days, in mornings, it was fine. but on the third day. i had severe migrane head ache.
Please suggest me, is it because of yoga?. Also, can i do it by myself. Or should i stop till i learn from an proper tutor. Awaiting reply ASAP.
Thanks in advance.

Mukund replied. Atleast to start with, its better to perform / do Asanas under Guru' s guidance. Once u learn it for couple of days / months, u may continue on yr own.
Rita replied. Hi Teja,
May I ask, are you fasting or dieting? According to my studies, severe migraines are often caused by fat starvation in brain. You might want to take extra oils into your diets. The best oils are those containing omega 3, 6 and 9. Take cold-pressed oils rather than use them in cooking. Don' t worry, these types of oils do not add weight. If you' re worrying about your weight, there are alternative diets to dangerously low-fat diets.
Know this, brain is the FAT-richest organ in body. Brain hugely demands fats. If your diets are deficient in brain-friendly fats, You are likely to contract migraines, CFS, AD, etc. If fat-starved, your brain can strip good fats from the body: fats can be stripped from around joints, thus leaving you with arthritis, fats from bodily tissues, muscles, etc. Moreover you age quickly with a fat-starved brain.
On top of supplementing your diet with oils, take plenty of water, especially mineral water.
Anand replied. You should join some good classes for yoga so that you get a good knowledge of how to do yoga
Arun Kumar replied. Hi Teja,
Better avoid doing it on ur own, find some instructor who can tell u about certain dos and donts which websites ll not tell u. the headache may be due to some improper posture. what are the asanas u tried? how do u know that its actually migrane?

Thanks for ur msg. I gte migrane with triggers like loud sound, starving, too much tensed, pollution. I am suffering from migrane since 12 years. Some times heavy, sometimes very mild. Everytime a cup of coffee and deep sleeps helps to get rid.
I like yoga so much, but parants didnot allow me to learn in a perfect way. The passion is driving me to search in net and try it.
I do, warmup first, eye and nwck exercises, then standing asana, (tadasana, chakrasana, forwar bend and backward bend). Sitting asanas(vajrasana, other 2 i donot know exact name. But vajrasana+raise and join hands, Vajrasana+ forward bend), floor exercises, like bow pose, crunches, and 1(donot know name). At last i do pranayama and kapalpati.
I take lime water at 5:45 morning and start yoga at 6:30. At present i am trying 1 atempt for 1 exercise. and could feel the flexibility. but 3th day scared me like anything with severe headache. Please suggest and i am staying abroad, so finding a tutor is a bit hard.
Or tell me some postures that i can do by myself. i want to try atlreast 10 postures to satisfy my passion.
