Hi
My 7 month one week old is not crawling yet nor does he shows any sighn of crawling ( he is not trying). He can sit when I make him sit or 30 to 40 minutes but when he falls he does not try anything but just crys for help. I try to ignore him but he keeps on crying.
I have tried keeping toys just about out of his reach but he will just not try taking the toys and will just ask me to bring it for him by crying.

Dont worry . 7 mths is too early , he will crawl when he is ready ......dont force him . try to stimulatre him by running aound or crawling your self & he will start copying you .

I dont think u need to worry abt this. Some children do skip milestones like crawling. My son never crawled. He is 14 months old. He now walks around happily and is even able to crawl. That is he started crawling after he started walking.
When my son was young lot of people used to tell me that their children rolled at 3rd month and crawled at 6 th month but, just dont listen to such things. People do boast a lot. Children are all different. Never compare them. Just leave them.
Are u able to sit for more than 30-40 min continously without changing ur position? I'm sure i cant do it. So, dont force things on ur child.

According to my babies' doctor, the average age for crawling is 8-10 months. So don't push your baby. He will only do it when he wants to. Just give him lots of tummy time. Let him play alone. My son is 8 months old. He can get himself up on his hands and knees, but cannot crawl yet.
