Due Date Club April 2007:wt not icreasing!

Name: neena Hi Archie n everybody,
Tomo.i will complete 21 wks,had gone to doctor last on 16th nov.just saw the baby could not hear heart beats but could see heart pumping as well as bayb's movements.But my question is that i am not gaining weight.i mean i am still the same as i was before pregnancy.1 KG here n there sometimes it happens but alomst same ,so last time doctor said now if it does not increase it will affect the baby.i am overweight since beggining but i think now it should increase.anyway going to go to doc again tomo.for wt.check n scaning to radiologist.let's see what happens.i feel my stomach little bit big n growing but it does not show in wt.why?

hi dear

my due date is april 12th. i will be going for my nest scan around 10th of december.doctor said she will tell me whethe there are any changes to my due date after seeing my scan report. oh... so, u can expect this baby also to be born around 6th. all the best dear.

Hi Neena..

i also had the same problem a couple of months back...my doctor advised me to have ice creams and also asked me to add protein powder in my milk...my weight has increased enough since then...it was 44 kgs earlier...now its 48.5 kgs...and i m in my 22nd week...so i hope it will help u too...pls. do try...

hi neena - i am happy to hear that ur radiology report shows good signs abt the baby. i am also completing 21 weeks by tomorrow. the only thing i wanted to tell u at this time - be happy and dont get panic for anything ya. all the best.

thnks saradha for ur kind words.we feel good when someone is there to boost n understand u.a bit relived,hey when is ur due date mine was 10th but yesterday accor.to report said 8th n u know what my son was born on 6th with same due date of 10th.bye.

nothing seems alarming so far except that heart rate of baby was ignored.

I will hold until I get to hear radiologist report, not concerned about your weight gain until I hear about it in next message.

Will be glad to know your starting weight, todays weight and height.

went to radiologist

thnks archie for a prompt reply,today went to radiologist he did ultrascan said everything is normal,heard the heartbeats,could see almost each n every part of the body of the baby.he showd patiently n explained evrything nicely saw feet, hands, spinal,stomach n face -eyes nose of course at times could not make out even when he was showing.anyway i was satisfied as last time was a bit tensed.radiologist also said baby's wt is 421 gms which he said is normal.

Archie my wt.before pregnancy was 80 kg and even today is the same only sometimes shows 81.today was 81 when doc checked .bp n everything else is normal.during my 1 st pregnancy i was 56kg and after 5 mnts was 60kg had increased 4 kg and in end was 66 kg.it was normal through out.it was 10 yrs back i was 24 yrs n now 34.

is everything fine? doc.even gave me 1 milk powder's name n told to take it to increase wt.should i start or increase my normal milk intake.at present taking vits.tablet in morning,calcium after lunch n iron after dinner.
