Hi this is Akanksha, I am currently in the 17 th week of my pregnancy, last week I had been to a multiplex to watch a movie,now I am slightly worried about the high intensity dolby sound on my little one .Does it affect the developing baby.?Pls share your views, and hope all you moms -to -be ,have a enjoyable and problem free pregancy,

Hi even I felt that the baby might be disturbed with such loud sounds in a multiplex. I m waiting to meet my gynae on the 2 of July when I will ask her about this...

hi akanksha,
i discussed this with few doctors of my circle.they say it has no effect on baby, except thatdont go for horror movies, not for the sound but ur reactions and heartbeat will rise child' s heartbeat. normally whatever sounds baby hears apart from mom itself can not be differentiated by the baby,except that repeating a form of music, a song, an instrumental of short time can be rememebred even after birth.otherwise all other sounds are same for the baby.

im also waiting for someone to reply to ur query, with lot of this summer releases in row with lots of part 3s like spiderman, shrek and pirates of carrebean. looks many dont have the idea. still if u get the answer thr' someother sources.. please post it here.

i haven' t done it but i heard about it. it is similar to ultrasound but much more clear. u will actully see the baby than just a figure. one of my friend did it. there is a fee for it.
they can even show u the gender very clearly than ultrasound. it is done around 20week.
