hi I'm in my 40th week & my due date is apr 15th. yesterday, I got some bloody show and it's still happening. also got abdominal cramps similar to mentrual cramps. but the pain is not continuous. I have got them only few times till yes'day evening. IS this the indication of labor contractions? Is the blooday show/pink discharge is part of mucus plug rupture? any one had similar situaltion like me for your labor? pl share your thoughts....

there is no doubt u r soon to deliver.i had similar events.i had blood and mucous for 2 days prior to water breaking.even i had menstrual cramps which were not evenly spaced and strong even after my water broke and i was rushed to hospital.only pitocin did the trick.
be watchful and have ur hubby nearby.if u have a stream or gush of water coming out call the emergency line of ur hospital and rush to the hospital.u will not mistake amniotic fluid for urine as it comes involuntarily

If you're losing blood/ amniotic fluid, pl. go to the hospital immediately even if the ontractions are erratic. Good lluck
