I am pregnant and expecting twins in 6 to 8 weeks I am unaware of or worried about how to nurse 2 babies so kindly help me get rid of my fear and worry also can I feed both at the same time or one afteer the other will be better and do I have to take special care of my breasts now and after having the babbies and should I feed till they are 2 years old .

Yes u will be able to feed both babies as your body will produce the required amount of milk and regarding feeding both at some time may be not at very early stage but once you have some experience u may able to feed them together. Stop worrying this is no time to worry but to enjoy the last few weeks left b34 the LO' s arrived so try to relex cos once they r here u wont get time then.regarding taking extra care of your Breast speak to your Dr. as Dr will give u best advice.It up to you weather u want to feed till 2 or 3 years or may be only 6 months that' s you have to see when babies arrived how comfartable you feel. so chin up babes throw worry away cos your babies will sence that u r worried. If you dont mind then pl. keep me informed. BEST OF LUCK.

I am pleased to inform you that I indeed gave birth to twins a boy and a girl on March 1st and had told my mother, mother in law & a cousin to constantly check this coloumn my cousin did a good thing she printed out your message and handed it to me on Feb 27th when I got admitted to hospital your tips are very useful I gave copies of which to other friends I made during my 10 days in hospital both babies are fine and sleeping as I decided to reply I am very happy and the doctors said I need not worry of breast care unless I feel uneasy or pain and although the nurses said try nursing both I I breastfeed only 1 baby at a time its comfortable for me and the babies Thanks again The babies are 16 days old today they were born on March 1st at 10 AM the girl the boy 5 minutes later it was a normal delivery both weighed 2900 grams at nith I produce enough milk to nurse both beautiful babies

According to my gyno, I have some special hormones due to which i can easily lactate and due to that my motherly instincts are extremely high. I was lactating until 1 yr back & I still can induce if i want to breastfeed anyone.
