My child used to go to play school after he completed 2 yrs of age but he never liked to go there. He used to cry contineously. Now (3yrs)he is in nursery but he still hates going to school. He is very naughty at home but doen't mingle easily with others. He stays with his grandparents. In his new school (nursery) all other kids have stopped crying except him. We have tried explaing him in all possible ways. Please let me know why does he cry so much to go to school???? Will he ever hate school and nowadays he is become very demanding and stubborn.

My daughter will be 4 yr in Dec. She goes to school and is friendly with neighbourhood children as well as the children at the creche and very active in school. However a small incident has chenged and she does not participate in class activities or play with school friends.

She had become very good friends with her classmate a boy also 4 yrs old, who also happens to stay in our building. Both of them got along very well. A couple of days back both had a fight and he hit her. Since then they have not been talking to each other.
This boy was very fond of her and wanted to only play with her, and other boys in teh building began pulling his leg and telling him that he is a boy and should be friends with boys not girls. So he started telling my daughter \";You are not my friend\"; Iam not playing with you etc....and in school also he says teh same thing. I initally ignored it as kids do have their tiff with eachother, But have noticed this has affected her, She has stopped interacting with other children and even not writing in class. Most of teh time she is daydreaming. Her class teacher also mentioned that my daughter was very active in class but now does not talk to anyone nor is she writing. Most of teh time she is daydreaming. Teh teacher also knows about these two not talking to each other.

Iam concerned that my daughter is very sensitive and has taken this incident to heart and it is affecting her school life. Once she returns from school she becomes very aggressive and throws tamtrums for any small and lame reason.

Please guide me how to handle this situation.

RE:Shyness right or wrong?
According to me you should take your child to a counselor and ask her what is the exact problem as this is not common and you should get into it as soon as possible and understand the real reason behind the same, please do not ignore this its a request.... - Anaida [View Message]
RE:Shyness right or wrong?
Hello dear this is really nothing to worry as its very common and you should not take this matter as a big concern as kids at this age are normally shy and they do not like meeting new people infact they want only their friends and all with them.... - Anita [View Message]

Hello madam this is really sad to see but then please speak to your daughter and ask her why is she doing like this and what is the exact problem because there might be chances that your daughter is hiding something from you and you should think on he same.... - Vijay [View Message]
