i need help from the lice and nits.i have waist length hair which are constantly infested with lice.i have loving mother in law and sis in law who sit and do lice picking and nit picking from my hair.but it is very boring and painful as i have to sit for long time.bea=cause my mil constantly makes me oil my hair for lice combing.she also uses the traditional nit comb which is very painful as each hair has to be plucked for nits.but i admit till date it is very effective.i have tried many remedies but none seem to work.only lice picking and nit picking works please discuss. Aamie replied. Instead of you whining about your gross situation, why don't you get a short haircut. You should be thankful to your inlaws for picking lies out of your hair. I personally wouldn't touch you or let alone come near you if you are having this issues on going.

applying tulsi as mansa suggested can work. i also suggest you boil the required quantity of water to wash your hair with 3 handsfull or even more of neem leaves, a few rocks of camphor. let it become luke warm in room temperature. dont mix extra cold water to make it luke warm- you would destroy the medicinal content by doing so. then wash with shika. despite the heavy schedule you may have, do this 3 times a week. comb gently after the hair has fairly dry. dont be harsh on your scalp and hair in the pretext of removing lice. you will end up with thinning hair if you torture your hair roots with vigorous combing when wet. lice will vanish in 2 weeks. yes. i do agree that cutting the hair to a certain extent will reduce lice. keeping your hair stark clean can also reduce lice. everytime you want to oil your hair, warm the required quantity with rock camphor and apply it immediately and massagw slightly without tangling your hair. within 3 minutes, the lice will fall off. kill them and run the comb thoroughly. the nits also will come off thus. do this for a month and lice will NEVER come back. but dont worry, this will help.

another thing to remember is: dont sit too close to ANYONE. if you notice anyone with lice in their head, sophisticatedly move away from them and save yourself. avoid sleeping beside any woman for sometime. this is something my grand mother taught me in school days and i still follow it and my hair is lice free.

Don't worry, first of all you should go for shortcut probably crew cut in which the hairs on nape and sides would be cut closely to the skin through which the lice and nits can be permanently run away. Once you go for cut apply tulasi for 3 - 5 times followed by medicre. Then this problem can be constantly solved out.
Ofcourse I underwent through shaving process recently at Tirumala, now there is not even a single lice and nit.
