I have tried all methods like taking lactare tablets, Galact powder, using garlic in food, eating lot of green veggies, drinking milk etc. still I' m unable to satisfy my baby. Even she used to take long feeds with hardly any gap betweeen feeds.But after 4 months she herself started giving gaps b/w feeds and also started shorter feeds. Expressing really helps. It helps to build up you milk supply. Dont worry this phase will pass by, just need to be patient. My 9 month old takes 3 or 4 feeds in a day now and ardly for 10 mins. By reading your concern for a moment i was remembering my days then.
Babies do that for comfort. Actually some babies can soothe only by breast feeding.

He would feed for 1.5 hrs and still be hungry. I did that for the fisrt month. After that I started pumping and giving him the bottle with the pumped milk.Invest ina good pump. Just be very digilent in pumping. That is the key if you want your supply to last longer. My baby would feed for 2 mins and sleep for 5mins but would drink fromt he bottle really quickly.
