HI all,

Today I comepleted week 37 and went for the regular gynaec chk up. To my disappointment again, doc asked us to come next week because the baby' s head is not yet engaged. Rest all the parameters are normal. Doc said they might wait for 2 more weeks, which will make me complete 39 weeks.
Now, I have 2 queries:

Since I am GD mom, I have heard mostly I will go for C section, but my doc says 95 they will go for normal delivery unless the head engagement doesn' t take place. Should the doc wait for normal in this case?

Secondly, My diabeltologist says that with GDM, docs do not wait till 39-40th week, and do a C section by 38th week. But my doc is going very easy and relaxed (He hasn' t done any internal exam till now). Is this a cause of concern?

I am feeling very restless and anxious, especially when i hear so many good news on this forum...:-)

Please advise.
