I am in 16th week of my pregnancy and have not experienced the flutter or movements yet. Is that OK? I am due on Nov 10th and from Dallas, Tx.

Hey...do keep me posted when u feel the movements...me still waiting! Really anxious now! But doc says its alright and I should just take it easy. Im due on the 7th of November!

Hi anji,
I am also in my 17th week and I am due on 11th nov. I also do not feel anything but I asked my doctor and he said that's quiet normal if you don't have any previous pregnencies you may feel that around 18th week or may be later.

Hi Ruchika,
Well...glad that you could get the nurse to confirm the movements.For me the next apt is on 10 of July so will have to wait till then.
At times I do feel the fluttering but as I said earlier I am not very sure if that is what the movement is suppose to be like.

I saw your messages after a long time. I am not yet feeling anything although the nursr says baby is moving...I can't feel anything yet.

same situation

hi ruchika... i'm due on the same date as u... haven't felt any movements as yet either... i guess it not too alarming... i do feel twitchings but i'm not sure i can relate them to baby movements... hope for the best.. take care...

Thanks for your reply. It sure is comforting to know someone is going thru the same stagesand at the sametime as me.
I think since yesterday I have started to feel some slight movements but being a first time mom...it is sightly difficult to be sure if that is what we shd be looking out for. What I feel rt now is slight fluttering but insted of it being continuous ...it hapeens for a second and then disappears and then happens again after a short while.

Also I can feel it more when I am sitting down and resting rather than working around the house.

How is it going with you? Do you work and where are you based..in US or in India?

hey I think its ok....u know im in the same situation, my movements havent started as yet, unless its already happened and i didnt recognise it. I was worried abt the same, but my doc says its different for different people. So its perfectly alright to have delayed movements. Do let me know when urs starts!...Cheer up! Im sure it will happen soon! stay in touch.
