I am still in my 36th week and I seem to be getting contractions regularly every 3-4 hrs. Anybody else experiencing the same thing?

Thanks Mansi, My dr says its ok to feel contractions this early. It could mean that I might deliver early; and yet maybe not, cause medically its very difficult to determine what triggers the labour. A friend of mine delivered a few weeks back, and she delivered her baby 3 weeks before time. Dr says its ok to deliver anytime after the 37th week. When is ur baby due?

Shilpi,

I am also in my 36th wk and dont think its contractions but I too am feeling some sort of slight discomfort. I also feel pressure and slight pain sometime in the pelvic area. I have my docs appointment today so I am planning to clear my doubts when I meet him anyway I will also check with him abt feeling contractions this early.

Shilpi, do remember to take lots of fluid ok. Midwife in our docs office had recommended this to one of my friends who was also complaining abt contractions in her 35th week.
