Ur baby is very very cute ! Absolutely WOW ! And ur birthing story was great ! I wish I am able to deliver without taking epidural - right now seems impossible - I took epidural when I was delivering Aarya when I was 7cms dilated - but it was worth it, cause I managed to get 3 hrs of sleep after that and was ready for pushing with more energy. That time I was in US. This time I am in India and my dr here doesn't want me to take epidural - and I know I will never manage without it - but lets see what happens !
Have fun with ur little boy !
I can't wait to hold my little girl !

2nd time is easier

Hi Shilpi,

I took epidural with my first. But I didn't need it with my 2nd or 3rd. It's easier because the labor time is usually cut in half.

I think you'll be fine without it.

Have any of you pierced your baby´ s ears?

Have any of you pierced your baby' s ears? Where did you get it done? Were you able to change the earrings after the piercing and put on indian ear rings? My pediatrician does not do it, and she suggested that i take tanvi to the mall. Pls share your experiences at the mall if you' ve had any.

My daughter was 5 months old when we decided to get her ear pierced. The non medical ear piercing options are painful and unsafe with possibilities of hepatitis, viruses and even HIV and I can never recommend it. My husband and I were looking for a safe, modern, gun shot piercing option which is completely safe, pain-free and with a traditional touch as well.
