C-Section:do doctors go for c-section only to get moremoney?

i am pregnant for first time and my doctor has given due date as 31st october. i heard people saying that doctors go for c-section(ceasor) as they get more money. i asked my doctor will it be normal or ceasor she says we will wait upto 3rd nov and then decide. i dont want a ceasor am scared of it. i am really tensed and dont know how far is it true. can anybody help me and tell how long can i wait after due date and does scan report predict that it will be normal delivery? please please answer.

that is the common perception but a c-section will depend on a lot of other things as in baby position, your body structure etc etc. Also at times a c-section becomes necessary to avoid fetal distress. I am in my 34th week and can understand your aniexty...but better than getting scared is to be informed and prepared..Read up on the Web - join forums and get some books so that you are ready for whatever happens. Take care hope all goes well for you and your baby. Remember - Ignorance is NOT always bliss :)
