Hi everyone,

just wondering if any of u know more information reg this...as far as i checked it shouldnt be a problem as long as it doesnt stay tipped till end of pregnancy..has anyone heard of anyone who had a tipped uterus who had problems during labour/pregnancy? any info will help...thanks!

HI vasudha,

I have a retroverted uterus and I belong to the november club. My doc had told me that the weight of the baby would tip it forward. 25% women have this issue and he does not forsee any complications unless the baby weight is less or there is premature delivery. i have an appointment soon, will reconfirm.

hi SB,
thanks for the info. i am going to my doc this week as well..i am going to ask her to make sure it has come back to normal position...i read that the only complication could be if the uterus becomes incarcerated...i think that means twisted...i am not thinking about these adverse cases right now...hope both our uteruses corrects itself soon! good luck!
