Due Date Club October 2009:8 week doc visit done ..!

Name: hopingfortejas It went well, by god' s grace :).

we got to see the baby in the u/s. and all the normal routine blood/urine tests were done.

my official EDD is Oct 4th , after this u/s. Do update this thread as all your 8th week visit is done. C.Joshi, hope yours went well as well.

I am in my 10th week, with EDD being 8-Oct. Just my first U/S done this last Saturday. It was good fun.

I got my first U/S done, the baby' s apparently doing well, still the size of a 50p coin I am told :) Doc visit tomorrow with the U/S and all the blood reports...lets see!

thanks a lot.
i had my scan n heard the heartbeat of the baby it was amazing nothing can be compared with tht.
its my second baby my son is 2yrs and 8 months.
but im as excited n as happy i was at the time of my 1 st baby.
everything is fine n my edd is 15/10/09.
but doctor called me to repeat the scan after 15 days so let u people abt tht later.

even my due date is 15th oct. and i am also going for my 1st scan on friday.

Yes its an amazing feeling...actually first u/s was very early @ 6 weeks but i am having my next u/s on 12th march...waiting for it soo much..
Which week are you on? Is it your first one too? From your message it seems your having u/s tomorrow..good luck with that :) Keep posting

hey ladies :-)

Hi Anu, i know , it is so exciting to see that little heart beating away to glory :-). With my first one, i was very tensed that everything should be ok. Second time around, i kind of felt everything would be ok, so i think i enjoyed it even more :-). good luck on your scan as well.

C.Joshi, how is it going ? with the first one, i was trying to eat healthy food, i used to have spinach and brocolli regularly since they are good in folate. This time around, i am sooo busy with work and my daughter that I am glad whenever i get to eat something :-(, sometimes i feel like i am starving the little one and feel a bit bad about it. so wrong person to ask for recipes :D

Wow..such a quick reply...Coool you are in Texas...we both are lucky to live in sunny weather or atleast not cold weather zones..
Do you knw some of the recipes that might be healthy to eat during pregnancy? What do you generally make everyday?

Nice to see your message. Yes mine was well but it was too early to see the baby , though we could see the heart beating...Doc did the blood test again and now my next u/s is on 12th March..I am on 7 weeks now...
How are you doing? I am having nausea on/off , headaches goes on and getting more sensitive to cold weather..though u will hardly find cold chills in FLorida ..heheh..
Keep in touch and keep writing your experiences...

hey :-)

Good to know your appt went good :), mine also, they first did an abdominal u/s , we could see the heartbeat , thats abt it. after that they did the vaginal u/s and in that we got a clearer view :).

i am also down with cold, my daughter had it begining of last week and passed it onto me. I read just a few minutes back, that elevated progesterone/ estrogen levels cause mucus membranes to swell which can cause nasal congestion ..!! as if just having cold to cause that is not enough :-).

i guess you should be happy to be in Florida and not in some place like Chicago then :). I actually live in Texas so the weather is very good here as well....

headaches

i am 32 weeks pregnant and i am 33 yrs old. 2nd baby. Ladies,

I have my color doppler due next week, is it done for you all?

How will the list look like for items that we need to carry to the hospital? If I am asking my husband, he is fully ready with his camera and camcorder, but we do not quite have a clue for the MORE necessary items :).

Now on I have weekly visits to to the doc. Yesterday I attended labour/delivery preparation class which was very useful. I am in Chennai and consulting at E V Kalyani hospital.
