Planning a Baby  Discussion Forum

I have been married for 4yrs. Iam 28yrs old and not interested to have a biological baby. So i want to adopt a child. And i am a christian too. Will i be able to be a mother for the adopted child or what is the procedure to adopt a baby in christianity?

The procedure to adopt baby is nearly same in all religions. There are some personal laws though. I Christians, the guardians are required to submit an investment plan and invest a certain sum of money for the security of the child. Hope this answers your question. Tricha replied. Is the decision to adopt a baby your decision or both you and your husbands? If it is solely yours, then you need to consider your husband' s opinion also as while adopting this matters a lot. You are still in your prime and to think of not having biological baby and instead opting for adoption is really remarkable. Very few women have the guts to take this decision. You should talk to your husband before deciding to adopt a baby.
