Hi, my baby cannot sleep without breast feeding. Even at night she would wake up a number of times and would cry for feed even if she had eaten her dinner properly. Otherwise, during daytime she doesnt ask for it. Only when she' s sleepy she would crave. She is 20 months old. pinki replied. even my son who is now 14 mths old would not sleep until i bf him... he would not ask int the day but as like ur kid he would not sleep in the night till he is breastfeeded... so one night when he was abt to bf i applied somva-34 n my nipples which would taste him really bad so he will start cryin and finally when he gets tired he will go to sleep.... and when after an hour or two when he is hungry he will wake up again make him taste the somva-34 applied nipple and he would not take it again and now give him milk bottle and being hungry he will drink that and go to sleep... this will continue for 2 nights and in your case since ur kid is 20 mths old may be 3 nights but not more than that... it is lil difficult process but it really works!!!! trust me!!! also this way your kid will start learning to sleep on his own.... gauri replied. u know i have givne up on this..i have tried everything possible but just not able to do it...thats y i hv decided i wlll conti till my daugher stops on he r own ..her demand for bm has come down still when she wants she wants it..then i only cant control n i wl offer...this process is so bad...so bad ...i hate it...
