Hi all, i would like post my opinion about gunasheela.
Like you all i read the review over net for good infertility doctors and finally decided to visit gunasheela trusting the reputation of dr sulochana. Its a mixed review. On the first visit duty doctor looked at my problem- PCO and said i need to undergo HSG test, then if tubes are normal then i need to undergo laproscopy, if it doesnt work out then will go for iui and then ivf. All these terms were new to us, and we felt horrified and thought the net reviews are correct about gunasheela, but anyway after 30 minutes doctor sulochona gunasheela was available and we met her. she asked us to come once i get periods. and she dint mention any operation or anything. she is 70+ and we were shocked how will she treat/operate patinents . her hands wwere shaking constantly.. then the gunasheela trip started from the next month. They asked me to do HSG test, results were normal and immediately she asked us to go for IUI. we were in hurry and were ok to go for iui. But we were shocked when we had to fill the forms for iui by looking at the attitude of staff there, when they asked us do u want to go for iui/ifv.. it was sold like a commodity. But i suggest you people not to take such things to heart. they see patients like us in hundred daily and one cannot be emotional. ONLY HUSBAND AND YOUR PARENTS CARE FOR YOU. DONT EXPECT EMOTIONAL CARE/SUPPORT FROM DOCTORS/STAFF IN HOSPITALS. Make sure doctor is not hurrying in treatment and understand all the possible tests are done before going for iui. My first iui was successful and i conceived but baby dint have heart beat.. :( so i had a missed miscarriage. when i went there doctor(duty doctor) gave tablets for missed miscarriage and asked me next month for new iui cycle!!!!! we were shocked to hear such a response. we were under the trauma of abortion and doctor is asking us to come next month for another iui. we decided not to go to them . Then after 2 months we visited DR MADHURI PATIL REFERRED BY DR JAYA BHAT. THEN REALISED GUNASHEELA IS MUCH MUCH BETTER THAN DR PATIL. dONT KNOW HOW THE RESULTS WILL BE FROM PATIL´ S CLINIC. BUT GUNASHEELA IS NOT ALL THAT BAD.. THEY MAY hurry for iui/ivf. and also do not expect sympathy/care/support from doctors/nurse/staff at hospital. they cannot be nice to each and every person. We know our problem they cannot respond to everybodys problem i used to cry at these doctors behavior, but now i have accepted that its ok if they behave like that as long as am getting some good results. good luck for all the ladies there..

Duggirala replied. I have a very horrible expierence at Gunasheela. I went to Gunasheela in January of this year. I went to this hospital as it is got high reputation treating infertility.
1. First day, they did a scan. In that scan report, it is mentioned that i have Bilateral PCOS. That means , they have detected my problem, which is good.
2. I went to see Dr.Devika after long waiting, she looked into above scan report and said every thing is normal. She asked about my profession and my husbands profession. And then she told she would do IUI in the next cycle.
3. She did not mentioned about PCOS detected in scan. We went to the hospital in Feb.
4. After long hours of waiting, we met only duty doctors. On our request they allowed us to see Dr.Devika and she said she would like to see my fellopian tubes. I went for an X-Ray.
5. Then duty doctors said, only one tube is seen. Dr.Devika looked into this report and She recommended laproscopy. Please note she would not like to meet patient before giving any medication. In laproscopy, every thing came out to be normal.
6. Then she asked me to get TB test.
5. Then she asked me to for IVF instead of IUI. She is highly intrested in my professions.
7. Next, Dr.Sulochana Gunasheela, she recommended me IVF. She never spoken a word about my Bilateral PCOS problem mentioned in the scan report.
8. She always said it is unexplained infertilty and go for IVF.
9. I forced them for IUI. They have given me intramunscular injections PH, FSH of worth some 25,000Rs and which are very pain ful for PCOS.That cycle failed horribly.
10. They always write medicine with out meeting patients which is so horrible. They will maintain one file for each patient.
11. Gunasheela only look into these files, to givetreat ment. They do not see patients.
12. If you want to meet Gunasheelas then you will have to wait for long hours. They do not remember any one.
13. This is first hospital, where doctors give medication with out looking patients. Very horrible.
14. They always forced me for IVF. I got docubt on these people' s cedibility and changed my doctor.
15. The cureent doctor told me that i have PCOS. She explained what does it mean by PCOS.
16. She has given me some medication. And I conceived successfully.
17. The staff in Gunasheela treat patients brutally.
18. Do not ever visit Gunasheela.
19. It is a mental tension during visits and finally heart break if we not conceive after spending so much of money and time.

Hi thats a bad experience, nowadays there are a lot of women who are been troubled and cheated by alot of doctors. Hence, its very important to go and have check up done from a good gynecologist.

The health problems in our country are increasing day by day and it feels so bad to hear that even after knowing how sad people are about it the doctors are busy thinking about ways they can earn extra money.

Many doctors now a days are getting money minded and they do not care about what doubts the patient has or what difficulties is he or she having they just listen to the main things and then give medications for that.

IVF via Donor Sperm
Hi, we are planning for ivf via donor sperm as we have genetic history wherein my daughter is ASD and mine own brother is ADHD hence genetic counselor said there is risk of 15-20 percent of child being autistic if we use our own gamet. If male child is born the risk is higher than a girl child.
Hence we thought to go for donor sperm. But there is still... - SS [View Message]
