Hello everyone...

i m very new to this forum. currently in 23rd week n expecting in end nov.
as of now all is well with me & i m enjoying my pregnancy very much. i m working from 8-6 ..being away from home whole day, sometime i feel i m not taking as healthy diet as i shuld be taking at this point of time. can anyone help me with a complete diet plan i shuld follow to get all nutrients i need for a healthy baby :)

Hi Ambika,

Milk is got high calcium content and is good for u and the baby.
If u are just not able to have it then pls have lots of paneer and curds and also butter milk and eat bananas.

Try to add some flavour and have atleast 1 glass of milk everyday if not more.

Hi,

Am not sure of an exact healthy diet plan but surely this is good enough

2-3 glasses of milk
Minimum 3 fruits per day
Soaked Badams in the morning
2 cups of dahi
dhals or sprouted grains
Lots of palak,methi and green vegetables
Home made salads and vegetable soups.
Dalia or wheat porridge.

Hi Ambika.

if u cant stand milk u can try this.. boil milk with little kesar(safforn) n green cardomom ,add little sugar n make it chilled in fridge. this certainly improves taste. i also never had milk before as i just couldnt stand the taste n smell.. but now i have 2-3 glass daily. i hope this will help u too :)

Hi Neha,

Thanks a lot for ur healthy diet plan. But i have a question....is it necessary to have 2 to 3 glasses of milk a day? I just cant stand the taste of milk.Is there any alternative to milk? Iam in my 26th week.
