Hi All,

We have been trying for the past year or so but have not been succesful as of now.

After innumerable visits to the doc, she suggested doing a semen analysis. The first report showed a sperm count of 10 mil/ cc.

The doctor had prescribed COQ Forte and after taking the medicine for three months, the next semen analysis showed a sperm count of 20 mil. Thereafter the doc suggested to continue taking the medicine and keep trying.

However the latest sperm count is 18 mil.

My wife also had a minor thyroxin problem for which eltroxin was prescribed.

Also PCT was done quite a few times and most of the times though the number of sperms were good but they were stagnating.

The motility is 50 . Now the doc is advising to go in for IUI.

I want to know whether we can concieve naturally with 20 mil sperm coutn and motility of 50.

Also if we decide to go in for IUI will it be succesful beacuse of the low sperm count ?

Finally when the doc is testing my wife for fallopian tube blockage, is there pain associated with it and also is IUI painful.

You must confirm by taking test from one doctor you have to consult more one and then you have to confirm because now days reports are also showing wrong count only. Vrinda replied. Hi Kunal,
Are you sure that your sperm count is less because even in these days reports are also showing some fault to be better go for test center who would give your proper and correct results. Dev replied. Hi Person,
For men low sperm count is the major problem in their life.So you have to start taking treatment so early in your life.It is good to you only and i wish your problem would be solved. Naina replied. Hi Person,

What would you do then can you suggest with an solution because many people would had suggested their own solution what they know but the thing is you had the problem and what solution you had preferred for that. anandi replied. So you can increase the count by using medicine also you can get that by consulting to the doctor and then you will find some solution to the problem and you will get the solution also. satish replied. low sperm count and IUI don' t go hand in hand, unless the doctor prescribes it. However, if you have age on ur side, you could try that. We have had some experience with tubal blocks, IUI & IVF. Unfortunately this site doesn' t allow urls or email ids.
